                                          WHAT IS CYBERBULLYING?

Cyberbullying is any form of bullying that takes place using electronic technology. The technology includes electronic devices and equipment, such as mobile phones, computers and tablets. It is a form of psychological violence that continues to evolve the network. It aims to offend anonymously, in private or in public ridicule a person of any kind.

                                          TYPES OF CYBERBULLYING

There are many ways of bullying someone online and for some it may take shape in more ways than one. Some of the types of bullying are:

⦁ Denigration: this is when someone can send information about another person that is false, malicious and false.

⦁ Flaming: this is when someone is using language deliberately really extreme and offensive and getting into online discussions and fights.

⦁ Outing and Trickery: this is when someone can share personal information of another or trick someone into revealing secrets and forward it to others.

⦁ Cyber Stalking: This is the act of repeatedly sending messages that include threats of harm, harassment, intimidation messages, or engaging in other online activities that make a person afraid for his safety.

⦁ Exclusion: This is when others intentionally leave someone out of a group like group messages, online applications, games sites

All this can be done using different methods offered by new media. Some of them are: • phone calls • Messages (with or without images) • Chat synchronous • Social networks (eg Facebook) • Sites of questions and answers • Online games sites

                                            PROTAGONISTS OF CYBERBULLYING

The cyberbullying occurs in the period of adolescence between these protagonists: • The bully is the child or the guy who puts in place repeated abuses towards the victim. he is his enemy. • The victim is the child or the boy who suffers from a bully or bullied by a group of bullies. He must confide all to his parents, friends or teachers. • The supporters of the bully and the victim and the indifferent.

Many parents are shocked to find out how prevalent cyberbullying is within the UK. Statistics show that many children and teens experience online bullying. The problem with cyber bullying continue to grow worse every year. Studies show that young people are more likely to be bullied on facebook than any other social networking site
